ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful HUGE circa 1900 Armour & Co Plant Police Badge from SOUTH Omaha Nebraska.

The Armour Packing Plant was a division of Armour and Company located at South 29th and Q Streets in South Omaha, Nebraska. 
The plant opened in 1897. 
There were a number of large riots and civil unrest that originated or included events at the Armour Packing Plant... so this badge has a lot of stories to tell!!

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately: 3-1/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped Nickel-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Police and Law Enforcement Collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PAEJP24 LFGEX09/28/24

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear especially to the high point, overall, it is in very fine condition.
