Wonderful early 1950's Nu-Maid Margarine (early Oleomargarine) waxed carboard box. The box shows a woman in a bonnet carrying a plate with a stick of butter and surrounding it reads: "TABLE" GRADE NU-MAID VEGETABLE OLEOMARGARINE”, “9000 W.S.P. Units Vitamin D Added Two Ounce of Nu-Maid Will Furnish 38% of the Minimum Daily Requirement of Vitamin A and 30% of the Minimum Daily Requirement of Vitamin D for An Adult, ONE POUND NET WEIGHT - THE MIAMI MARGARINE CO. , CINCINNATI , OHIO. FAMOUS FOR ITS MILD, SWEET, CHURNED-FRESH FLAVOR ALSO IMPARTS FINER FLAVOR IN BAKING, FRYING, SEASONING, "AN ALL VEGETABLE PRODUCT AN ALL PURPOSE MARGARINE".
