This is a Wonderful Civil War Era Fur Covered Card Box for the game of Piquet, which uses 32 Card Decks, om, Hing the 2-6 Cards in each suit.
2 Decks included, Sadly Queen of Spades is missing from the "Brown" Deck. The cards are dated 1863.
VINTAGE:
Civil War Era, 1863.
SIZE:
Approximately: 5" in depth x 6-3/4" in width x 2-1/4" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Civil War Era Fur Covered Wooden box & leather. Inside Box: Leather, and paper, black board and pencil. Snap locks: green glass surrounded with brass. Top of the box Card decoration: Enameled brass.

CONDITION:
7 (Very Fine): Images 11 & 12 are the same spot and different angle shoot. The Card Box shows aging damage on the fur, and inside shows wonderful condition. Overall, it is well-made and in very fine condition.
