ARTIFACT: This is a World War II "Bundles for Britain" donation lapel badge made from resin and wood from the ruins of St. Dunstan's Cathedral in London, which was heavily bombed during the 1941 Blitz. This non-military aid program was begun in 1940 by a New Yorker named Mrs. Wales Latham. The pin reads DIEU ET MON DROIT (God and my right), Great Britain's motto, and shows a heraldic lion.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Resin, wood.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: MADE WITH BOMBED WOOD FROM ENGLAND ST. DUNSTAN'S.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only light wear.
