ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful 1938 NSFK Gruppe 16 (Sudwest) biplane tinnie for Grossflugtag Mannheim. Organized by the NFSK, or Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps (Flyer Corps), the aviation meet took place on June 19, 1938. D-E QDA is displayed on the plane's wings and there is a rounded swastika on the tail. The tinnie is in silver-plated brass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1938.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early German tinnie collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRVAGEX-TRDJX08 LBGEX8/14 SBGEX06/19

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie has only light wear.
