ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful circa 1890s fireman's grave marker from the Westbrook (Maine) Hook Company #1. The marker is in cast iron painted in a great old shade of red paint.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 17" in height and 6" in width and about 1-1/8" in thickness (including bracket).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted cast iron.

ATTACHMENT: Spike, tubular bracket.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire-related collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEX10 LAGEX1/13

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The marker has some areas of medium wear and some paint loss.
