ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful 1890's-1900's "Old West" Deputy constable 6pt Star w/Hand-stamped Lettering by Sacramento California Maker H.E.SLEEPER.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s-1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" x 2-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated nickel with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: H.E.SLEEPER SACTO. CAL.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge has some light abrasions over all handsome patina.
