ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful circa 1880s or 1890s Old West police badge. The badge is a 5-pointed star done in nickel and has a great patina.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" in height x 2-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VABEX13 LHGEX8/13 SLAAGEX12/22/24

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some very minor abrasions and spots of light wear to the lettering.
