ARTIFACT: Wonderful 1875 Boston & Albany Railroad Company date stamped receipt. The receipt shows a nicely detailed locomotive in the upper corner and to the side reads: "BOSTON AND ALBANY RAILROAD COMPANY." and just below is dated: "BOSTON, FEBY 17, 1875". The receipt is for: "TWO ROLLS SOLE LEATHER" from "BUCKMAN RAYNER + CO." to be delivered to "PRENTICE AND CAREY" in "WORCESTER, MASS." and is signed by the receiving freight agent.

VINTAGE: Circa February 17, 1875

SIZE: Approximately 8" x 4-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, ink

MARKINGS: "J. L. FAIRBANKS & CO., STATIONERS, 136 WASHINGTON STREET", "B & A. R. R. FEB 17 P. M.", "FOR BOSTON AND ALBANY RAILROAD"

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The receipt shows moderate storage/age wear mostly to edges, creases from folding, overall remarkable condition.
