ARTIFACT: Nice covered, hand-woven Passamaquoddy basket from Maine. The basket is a rich honey tone with gorgeous pink/red and green pigment decorations. The weave design is beautiful, the cover is woven to match and sits perfectly on top.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's-1930's

SIZE: Approximately 5" in diameter Lid 2" x 7"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, bark, pigments.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of artifacts from American indigenous cultures which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay-C06/11/19 MEJX03 LAGEX1/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Basket shows little overall storage wear and a few places with damaged decorations. The colors of the bark are visible, cover is fully intact.
