ARTIFACT: This is a date-marked 1948 clan badge for Clan Faulkner (derived from Falconer). The badge shows a falcon at center and reads "Paratus Ad Aethera" (Prepared for Heaven) upon the encircling garter. The badge is in sterling silver and has an Inverness maker mark.

VINTAGE: Circa 1948.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with C catch, loop for hanging.

MARKINGS: M&C INVSS and thistle, castle and "I" marks (date-marked 1948).
