ARTIFACT: This is a Vietnamese-made flash for the US Army 71st Assault Helicopter Company aka "Firebirds". The flash is slightly arced and reads FIREBIRDS.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 3-1/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Red twill patch embroidered in white cotton/silk/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: None.
