ARTIFACT: This is a private purchase fighting knife in a leather sheath from the Vietnam War era. The knife is in the commando or stiletto style.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War.

SIZE: 13-5/8" length and 2" width (in sheath); knife only: 11-1/4" by 1-7/8"; blade only: 6-1/2" by 7/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel with painted wooden handle, brass; leather sheath, elasticized cotton band.

ATTACHMENT: Elasticized band holds knife to sheath neck.

MARKINGS: JAPAN.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Vietnam era collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX05 LABEX7/10 SLIJX1/13 SLHEX6/16 SLIJX01/21

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The handle shows some moderate wear but the rest of the piece is in very nice condition.
