ARTIFACT: This is a Vietnam era recommissioning plaque for the United States Navy 12th Mobile Construction Battalion. The plaque has a painted aluminum medallion showing the Roman numeral XII spanning a map of New England at its center and a brass tab reading RECOMMISSIONED 28 JUNE 1968.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War.

SIZE: Approximately 10-1/4" in height and 8-5/8" in width and 1" thick.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted aluminum, anodized aluminum, wood, brass.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The plaque has a few small spots of light wear and one slight chip in the wood.
