ARTIFACT: This is a very rare World War II Civilian Air Transport Command (ATC) crusher. The hat has a bronzed badge on it s front and two ATC buttons on the strap above the visor.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Size 7-1/8.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton, elasticized cotton band, patent leather, leather, metal buckles, cellophane, silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Buckled strap around cap.

MARKINGS: 07/01/08

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Ebay MBBEL10 LFGEX3/11

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The crusher has some very small holes on its top, light staining and small spots of wear above the badge and some abrasions to the visor.
