ARTIFACT: This is a very rare private purchase 1930s French Naval balloon observer badge. The badge shows a wreathed anchor bearing a golden winged wheel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some areas of gilt missing and shows some small areas of tarnish.
