ARTIFACT: Very nice, early 1930's United States Air Corps 6th Bomb Group Distinctive Insignia. This example is a right-facing swashbuckler with a skull and crossbones tattooed on his chest and a banner beneath him that reads: "PARATI DEFEFENDERE" or "Ready to Defend." and shows the US Air Corps symbol, a white star with a red center, against a blue background. The reverse features a large pinback with no maker.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Air Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEFM01 LBBEX2/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The DI shows minor to moderate wear, much of the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
