ARTIFACT: This is a Very Cool Victorian England Era Secret Society Badge From the Isle Of Wight. (ISEL OF WIGHT) 

Isle of Wigh in British English: an island and county of S England in the English Channel. Administrative centre: Newport. Meaning of the Isle of Wight:
The most popular theory seems to be that the original meaning of the word 'wight' was to 'split or divide' 

VINTAGE: Circa Victorian Era.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass and silver, paste stone

ATTACHMENT: T-style pin with C catch

MARKINGS: N/A

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine): This badge has seen some wear and has some heavy tarnish on obverse.
