ARTIFACT: Very cool circa 1946 lever and spring operational cigarette case. Early WWII Occupation Period. Inscribed with engraving pen and reads: "TOKYO JAPAN 1946". The case is made of nickel plated brass and may possibly have been manufactured earlier than 1946. It's the only one I've ever seen.

VINTAGE: Circa 1946

SIZE: Approximately 4" x 2 ¾"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hand, pen-engraved nickel plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Lever and spring, hinged lid that removes for loading.

MARKINGS: "TOKYO JAPAN 1946".

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Cigarette case shows moderate to heavy surface wear, moving parts, spring, hinge, and lever all in great working condition.
