ARTIFACT: This is a rare variation of a World War II US Army / USAAF CBI (or China Burma India) Theater shoulder patch. This patch was made in silk screen painted leather. The patch is a badge shape and depicts a sun and a star on a field of blue above five vertical stripes. This patch was most likely for use on an A-2 flight jacket by USAAF personnell.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately: 3-1/4" in height x 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk Screen Painted on Leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX17 LAFJX8/17 SACHX04/14/23

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Visually, it's in great condition, but it's fairly stiff.
