The dance card is in brass and is in the form of the fore end of a Great White Fleet battleship. It was made by the George Fry Company of Philadelphia. Within are listed the names of the ball's dances and committee members, with blank pages opposite to write the names of "engagements". The front endpaper has a great textured decorative design.

VINTAGE: Circa 1912.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in width and 2-5/16" in height (when closed); cord is about 22" in total length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, paper, cord.

ATTACHMENT: Three-ring binding, cord.

MARKINGS: GEO. FRY CO. PHILA. on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VEJX12 LBDEX12/12 SeBHJX2/15
