ARTIFACT: This is a patch for the United States 451st Bomber Squad, 32nd Bomber Group, 8th and 9th Air Force, and comes with a picture card. The patch shows a gorilla on a cloud dressed in a football uniform and goggles about to hurl a missile. The card shows the same design in fewer colors and reads 451st BOMB SQUADRON.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Patch has 5" diameter and card measures 8-1/4" high by 6-1/4" wide.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brown leather patch with painted design.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJJX09

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Patch shows moderate wear and some cracking; card is in very good shape with only slight bending in two corners.
