ARTIFACT: This is a sterling distinctive insignia for the United States Army 301st Ordnance Battalion. This insignia reads SERVICE ABOVE ALL and shows four armored arms holding a wrench, sword, pistol and a wheel, all over the top half of a cannon muzzle.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-1/8" height and 15-16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with red enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This item has been rated a level IV rarity by ASMIC (the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors). This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGX01 LAGEX 4/10

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): Insignia shows light wear only and has great coloring.
