ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 21st Infantry Regiment by Vanguard. The DI is a crest showing a five-bastioned fort, a cedar tree and a snakeskin at the top. The DI reads DUTY along the bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: VANGUARD INC. V-21.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some light wear and a slightly bent post.
