ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 20th Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows four muskets paired off and crossed to form the Roman numeral XX, or 20.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: N. S. MEYER NEW YORK, maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition.
This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine-): The DI shows has light wear and tarnish, with most of the enamel missing; the tops of the rifles are slightly bent.
