ARTIFACT: This is a United States Air Force 311th Air Commando Squadron patch hand-made in Vietnam. The patch shows a parachute with a sword landing in a wheat field in a mountainous region and reads 311TH AIR COMMANDO SQ, PRIOR SEMPER SINE TIMORE ("always first without fear ").

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War.

SIZE: 3-3/4" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Green and white cotton patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk/polyester threads with cotton backing.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Patch has very little wear.
