ARTIFACT: Unusual WWI United States Army Medical Officer watch fob for baggage tag. The watch fob features a blackened bronze caduceus insignia atop the center of leather decorated to resemble a US Shield. The top of the fob features a knob and leather tab for attachment.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 6" x 1-5/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Multi-piece leather, blackened bronze, silvered bronze

ATTACHMENT: Leather loop, bronze knob - Insignia: Vertical pin with 'C' type catch.

MARKINGS: "SILVER APPLIED 925/1000"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAX15 LEEX12/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The fob shows moderate wear, few areas of verdigris on reverse, leather is supple, overall very fine condition.
