This is a unique World War II USAAF Troop Carrier Command DI in 14K Gold with a diamond mounted at center, bearing the Latin logo "Vincit Qui Primum Gerit" which was hand engraved and filled with hard fired blue enamel, as was the background of the main image.
The findings on the DI are very American in style, but it is still possible that this was a theater made piece, especially since Squadrons of this Command served all over he Globe.
