ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful near mint and unfired circa 1967 United States Navy ship Zippo lighter for the USS Vega AF-59, Service Squadron 7. Launched April 28, 1955, the Vega was a stores ship that operated in Vietnam at this time. This lighter was factory-engraved.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1967.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" in thickness.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Chrome-plated brass, painted details.
ATTACHMENT:
Hinge.
