ARTIFACT:
The nicest AN 6505 – 1 Aviator's kit bag I have ever seen or owned. Fabulous color and just enough wear to have that 'been there look'. The front of the kit bag reads: "AVIATOR'S KIT BAG AN6505-1 PROPERTY U.S. GOVERNMENT" used by both United States Army Air Forces and the United States Navy airmen. The bag is in heavy cotton duck with cotton webbing. The bag has early Talon zippers and several interior pockets.

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The kit bag shows light wear and a few small holes in the bottom, small area of damage to one of the zippers (see photo), overall very fine condition.
