ARTIFACT:
This is a stunning and Rare badge that was carried by a
United States Marine Corps Military Police Investigator in the 1960's - 1970's.
The badge was made by Everson - Ross, and has their GOL-BEAM trademark on back.
The front has a beautiful Phoenix at top, instead of the usual Eagle, and has
beautiful red and blue enamel that really sets off against the gold background.
The badge has lovely light duty wear on the high points, adding to its
character.
VINTAGE:
1960s - 1970s.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/2" in height x 1-13/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Everson-Ross' proprietary GOL-BEAM alloy (like Blackinton's KARATCLAD, etc.) which has been die-stamped, and then the lettering and seal background have been filled with hard fired enamel. Kick Pin and Drop-In Locking Tombstone Burgess Catch.
