ARTIFACT: This is a Stunning circa 2010's Navajo Silver Tufa Cast & Overlay Bracelet with Gorgeous Number 8 Turquoise Stone by Richard Begay. We also have Matching Pendant.

Richard Begay was born and raised in Navajoland, Arizona. Throughout his art classes in school, he always wanted to create the perfect shape. He soon realized that he wanted to create beautiful jewelry. He had been a silversmith since 1974.   Richard passed away in 2013.

He was known for both contemporary and traditional jewelry, as well as his innovative inlay designs.  His work is represented in many collections and museums both nationally and internationally.

His work is displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and the Heard Museum in Phoenix AZ.

VINTAGE: 2010s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-9/16" in height x 5-1/2" in width. Open: 1-3/8" wide. Total arm fit to 7"+ / Number 8 Stone: 5/8" x 9/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Navajo Silver, Number 8 Turquoise.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The bracelet shows little to minor wear, no damage. Overall, it is perfect shape, and Richerd Begay is known for choosing the best stones for his work, so it is proofed it, he chosen the Number 8 Turquoise for this bracelet!
