ARTIFACT: This is a stunning circa 1949 New Haven, CT Police Chaplain badge made in 14K Gold (tested) with diamonds and enamel. This badge was presented to the original owner Rev. Vincent E. Lyddy written on the reverse. It weighs .53 ounces, or 9.6 pennyweight, or 14.9 grams.

VINTAGE: Circa 1949's

SIZE: Size 1-7/8" x 1-1/4

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 14K Gold with enamel and diamond

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with locking over-under swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "POLICE CHAPLAIN NEW HAVEN CONN. PRESENTED TP REV. VINCENT E. LYDDY BY THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS APRIL 11 1949 AND THE POLICE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION"
