ARTIFACT: This is a stunning circa 1930s California detective badge by Irvine & Jachens of San Francisco. The front of the badge lists the badge license number. The badge is in beautiful condition and has a three-dimensional gilt star at is center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, gilt brass, .

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: CALIF. LIC. 2279 on front; IRVINE & JACHENS S.F. JWU NO. 7 UNION MADE mark.
