ARTIFACT: This is a chained, enameled sterling "mother's pin" for having two sons in the United States Navy. One pin is a rectangle bordered in red showing two stars at its center and the other pin reads US NANY against blue enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Pins approximately 1/4" by 9/16" and 3/8" by 9/16"; chain is about 1-5/8" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pins on bars; linked chain.

MARKINGS: STERLING on reverse of each pin.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows only light wear.
