ARTIFACT: Sterling WWII United States Army Air Forces Sweetheart pin. The pin portrays two hearts overlapped, one brushed silver, and the other polished. The heart on the viewer's left features a raised, winged propeller USAAF Officer's collar insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "STERLING"

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The pin shows moderate to heavy surface wear, mostly to edges, much of the plating details remain intact.
