ARTIFACT: This is a Spanish Civil War period pilot wing for Italian Fascist Legion pilots flying for Franco's Nationalists. Mussolini sent tens of thousands of men and valuable materiel to aid Franco's side. The wing is in Spanish silver with a gold and red center bearing some fearsome weapons.

VINTAGE: Circa Spanish Civil War.

SIZE: About 2-3/4" in width by 3/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver with gilt and painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Minor wear and tarnishing, some missing paint.
