ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "Slim", War Leader Book Number 12 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Michael Calvert, this volume focuses on General William Slim, Commander of the 14th Army (aka "Forgotten Army") in Burma. The book has several black and white photographs and was published in 1973. VINTAGE: Published 1973.

SIZE: 160 pages; approximately 8-1/4" in height and 5-7/16" in width.
