Scarce WWII United States Army Air Forces Type E-17 'Bale Wire' Survival Kit Flask. The orange Bakelite flask features a steel bale over the top that secures the lid and the bottom features a pin-sized drainage hole. The front of the Survival Kit reads:

Bouillon Powder Dissolve contents of one envelop in hot or cold water. Shake well and drink.

Leader Kit Use gut leader for small fish and steel leader for large fish.
