ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War I United States Air Service 417th Aero Squadron enlisted man's shoulder patch. The patch shows the number 417 over a propeller.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: About 3-3/4" height and 3-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt patch embroidered with white silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Service collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAR@VAR

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The patch has moderate discoloration on embroidery.
