ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War I Imperial German Canteen. This military issue canteen is made of steel and fits inside a corduroy case that's secured by buttons and a leather strap.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: Approximately 9" in height, by 5-7/8" in width, & 2" in depth. Top: 2-1/2" x 1-3/4" diameter; Cap: 1-1/8" x 1-1/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, leather, corduroy, cork.

ATTACHMENT: Steel clip to attach to belt.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial German militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX16 LAEJX02/17 SABEX01/21

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): Leather is worn, split in places, and the cap strap is broken. The inside is fairly clean.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
