ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War I homefront machine gun munitions worker badge in bronze. The badge has a bar at top that reads WAR WORKER, and the medallion shows a man at a forge alongside an eagle.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with safety-style catch on bar, suspension rings.

MARKINGS: Gorham Co.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MBJX13 LABEX8/14

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The badge has light to medium wear/tarnish and some areas of oxidation, mostly on reverse.
