ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War II Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) operational wings badge by Birks given for the completion of two tours. The badge is a winged "O" with a bar hanging below.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5/8" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts with disc backings, backplate.

MARKINGS: BIRKS STERLING on reverse of badge.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEX07 LBBEX6/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows light wear and areas of tarnish.
