ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War I US Army captain's rank insignia for an overseas cap in sterling silver.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX07 LFJX3/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The bar shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish.
