ARTIFACT: This is a scarce single low convex World War II Civilian Air Transport Command (ATC) captain's rank insignia. This insignia is in unmarked sterling silver.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height x 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX12 LABEX12/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia has only some light wear.
