ARTIFACT: This is a Scarce Early World War II United State Navy MKII Pilot Goggles with Green Lenses. Excellent Original Cushion & Stamp.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3" height and 6-1/2" width

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass lenses, plated brass hardware and rims, cotton strap, sponge rubber lining

ATTACHMENT: Cloth band with sliding buckles

MARKINGS: "MK-II PILOT" on center of the goggles "OV" "R NO" right side lens "OV" "L NO" left side lens "PATENTED THE CHAS FISCHER SPRING CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y." under the left side lens frame. "PATENTED" on the metal conncted to the band.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-JST-35-19 LDIEX10/31/19 PSLEJEX10/19 SRET06/23

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The goggles have only spots of light to medium wear, especially on foam, overall Excellent Original Cushion & Stamp.
