ARTIFACT: Scarce, early, 1920's National Postal Supervisors Association member lapel pin. Originally founded in 1908 as the National Association of Supervisory Post Office Employees the name was changed in the 1920's to the National Association of Postal Supervisors (NAPS). The red, white, and blue gilt enameled pin shows the letter"USA" entwined in the center against a blue background and surrounding it read"NATIONAL POSTAL SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION ORG Đ 1908".

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback

MARKINGS: "I.I.W.U. UNION MADE

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Postal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX16 LEEX10/16 SEEX10/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The pin shows minor to moderate surface wear, nearly all of the gilt and enameled details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
