ARTIFACT: This is a scarce early (1891) parade ribbon for the Highland Engine & Hose Company of Florida, New York for their first annual parade. The brown ribbon has a gilt bar at the top.

VINTAGE: Circa 1891.

SIZE: Approximately 6-1/2" in height and 2-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk, gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety pin on bar.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MEX12 LABEX7/13 SLFEX9/16

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The ribbon has some small areas of moderate wear and a tear near the bottom.
