ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1966 or 1967 MIKE (Mobile Strike Force Command) Force pocket patch. MIKE was a section of the United States Army Special Forces in which Americans and indigenous soldiers fought together. The patch is Vietnamese-made and shows a dagger and crossbow above three lightning bolts. This patch is in a larger-size variation without an arc. This patch came to us along with several other Special Forces patches and insignia (please see links at bottom of page for more information: all items sold separately). We unfortunately currently do not know the name or anything about the Special Forces soldier to whom these all once belonged.

VINTAGE: Circa 1966-1967.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: TAN VINH maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Special Forces patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEM13 LCGEX9/13 SCJJX10/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows only some light to medium wear and creasing.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
