ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1960s Laker Airways crew hat badge for an unknown position/rank. Laker Airways was a British airline that flew from 1966 until 1982. The badge is embroidered in gold bullion thread, and the bird at the top of the badge may denote a flight engineer.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 3"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt with bullion embroidery, silk, treated backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.
